Design Phase

What do you need?
We work with you during all the steps of our design process. First of all, we find out who you are and what your project is. Through our conversations with you, product and service research in your industry, and your project questionnaires, we will develop a custom solution for you.

What do you like?
We'll ask you to tell us which websites you like, or which ones you hate. Tell us about the features on your favorite sites that you would like to emulate. By defining your design tastes and features wish list, we can better tailor your project to your liking.

What we can do
We'll create an outline for you of the elements that your project must include. If you later find that you need to modify your priorities or objectives, we can redefine your project specs as long as we agree to the changes.

How we can do it
We will submit a proposal to you, assigning a timeline and prices to your project specs, as well as explaining features and development strategies.

Our promise
We both sign a contract to state we all will hold up our end of the bargain. We request 1/3 of the proposed development fee due at this time.

Your site map
We will provide you with a site map that illustrates the information volume and structure, and the navigation through the site.

Design Comps
We will supply you with digital design sketches of our ideas. We usually agree to provide at least 3 original design directions based on your guidelines and two rounds of client changes. Once you choose the final design, we will recreate it in a combination of Web images and HTML code as the master design template.

Prototype
We'll create a finished design template, showing the graphical elements with some abbreviated content, so you can see what your site will look like. This will allow you to test the navigation and content presentation of the site. You can request modifications at this time. We generally contract to provide two rounds of client changes.

If dynamic scripts or interactive features are included in your project specs, we will include a minimal representation in the prototype.

Once you approve the prototype, we're done designing. Now we begin the programming and construction for the final site.

Development Phase

Programming
The exact nature of the programming would be defined by your project. It could include JavaScript, DHTML, proprietary storefront scripting languages, Active Server Pages, Cold Fusion, or Perl CGI.

Production
We will produce both the graphics and HTML production for all required Web pages and templates.

Testing and Debugging
We upload the site to its final server and test and debug it in a variety of browsers.

Site Submission
We include a single round of submissions to the major search engines in a basic project, along with inclusion of meta tag information in the home page. More intensive optimization and submission campaigns are available.
